How Gen Z consumers and the ‘trust economy’ are changing the mall experience
One more 113 firms got the Business of Good– 3 Hearts recognition, including 8M Realty, Banyan Tree Holdings, Far East Orchard, OUE REIT Management and Savills (Singapore).
On the other hand, 63 business were given the Champion of Good honor– the greatest tier of the acknowledgment system– consisting of Kuok (Singapore), Lendlease Global Commercial Trust Management, Mapletree Investments and TS Group.
“As we look ahead, NVPC is going to focus on strengthening the community of Firms of Good and making it possible for organisations to pick up from one another, collaborate throughout businesses and sectors and produce impact with each other,” includes Soh.
Small and medium-sized companies accounted for the majority of receivers, comprising 376 organisations, or 78% of the total.
Over the previous 3 years, 1,046 recognised Companies of Good have collectively contributed almost $384 million in funds contributions, greater than $85 million in contributions in-kind, and more than 1.1 million volunteer hours.
A total of 481 companies were acknowledged as Firms of Good by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) this year, as the campaign marked its 10th anniversary. The acknowledgment honours services that produce favorable social influence in Singapore.
This year’s associate includes 177 Business of Good– 1 Heart recipients, among them Colliers, Fraxtor, Craig Road Property, Ngee Koon, and Momentus Hotel Alexandra.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong governed the event, offering the Champion of Good awards, whilst Senior Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth, and Trade and Industry Low Yen Ling presented the Firm of Good– 3 Hearts awards.
The statement was made at NVPC’s Firm of Good Conference and Conferment held on July 20 at Fairmont Singapore, which in turn saw almost 700 business heads gathered up.
“10 years on, Company of Good has actually displayed that Corporate Objective is increasingly emerging as an essential part of how organisations create worth for their stakeholders and the more comprehensive society,” states Tony Soh, PRESIDENT, NVPC.
