The resort is made to blend into the natural environments, with Japanese company Kengo Kuma and Associates appointed as the project’s architect.
Centred on the restorative tradition of Japanese onsens, the property provides 60 guestrooms, featuring 11 suites, that featured a private natural thermal spring bath each.
As for eating, Alila Sengokuhara Hakone’s restaurant and bar will definitely champion nearby sourced, seasonal ingredients from nearby areas, forests and seas– aligning with the brand’s dedication to culinary experiences rooted in their setting. The food selections will include flavours of the community, linking visitors with its components to Hakone and the more comprehensive Japanese landscape.
The hotel’s various other highlights consist of a yoga patio bordered by the natural surroundings, offering guests a relaxing space to draw in, exercise and reconnect. The hotel is going to also offer curated Alila Moments– signature experiences that enable guests to immerse themselves in Hakone’s practices and lifestyle beyond a standard resort visit.
Hyatt Hotels has already revealed a contract with Fujita Corp to open up Alila Sengokuhara Hakone– put in the neighborhood of Sengokuhara in the mountainous location of Hakone– marking the Alila brand name’s initial real property in Japan. The property is set to establish in 2028.
The hotel will join a worldwide portfolio of 19 existing Alila commercial properties, consisting of 13 throughout Asia. The company’s intro in Japan will bring Hyatt’s Japan portfolio to 10 brands.
